Harry was broken at the end of summer '05 with the intention of producing him as a dressage pony.  This has proved to be the right decision after he qualified for the Regional Finals at both Novice and Elementary Open Level in just a few outings at affiliated level.  His temperament, attitude and outlook on life make competing a pleasure to partner.

He is proving without doubt to be very trainable and his results below show his development at each competition.  He has competed regularly at a variety of venues, taking each occasion in his stride and gaining excellent results.  With his exquisite temperament and intelligence he is an eager and willing person, trying always to please.

He was presented at the 2005 Stallion Grading with the SPSS and was granted a temporary license for 2006 with the comment "attentive to rider throughout" which was reviewed and awarded again for 2007, he was granted permanent SPSS Grading and License for his results and progeny at the end of 2007. 

We believe Harry would be suitable for all types of mares from producing lead rein, show, dressage, and quality ponies from bigger mares which we are sure will all excel in every type of equine discipline. 

To top it all he has the most outstanding temperament needed in a childs pony.  He has manners to burn, and is regularly handled and ridden alongside mares by small children.  He is stabled and turned out on our mixed yard with no problems.

Progeny

His first SPSS Foal (Bridget below) - "Bathleyhills Flashlight"  was presented at the BEF Futurity Show - 19th July 2007.  She was awarded a First Premium - the highest award available with 8.09 and Reserve Pony Foal.  She will hopefully following in dads footsteps.............

Harry also has two good moving, three year old Welsh Section B geldings "Harvey" and "Hamish".  Both will be broken over Winter 07 and available for sale in Spring 08. See "Our Horses Page"

Harry Stars in a Panto.......................................

His temperament is also shown to perfection here, in his performance at the pantomine Cinderalla, 19th & 20th January 2007, in which he attended three showings as the coach horse!!! With a 200 strong audience!!!
