Bathley Hill Farm is situated six miles
north of Newark, Notts. We have a
modernised facility which is available for full/part
livery, in a peaceful and rural setting which provides a
comfortable and relaxed environment for horse and rider.
A floodlit 20m by 60m all-weather rubber
surface manege with a comprehensive set of show
jumps is available for use and hacking in the picturesque
countryside with numerous bridleways nearby make an ideal
place for schooling and training your horse whilst keeping him
happy and content.
Outside instructors are
also welcome for training on your horse in dressage and showjumping,
this is open to any clients based on or
off our yard.
We have vast and varied experience with
horses and ponies, ranging from dressage, show
jumping, showing ponies to whipping-in to fox and
bloodhounds.
Overnight
stays can be accommodated at £20 per night - 10 mins from
Newark & Notts Showground, ring for

We do not offer
DIY Livery
All horses will be wormed on arrival
by our staff. |
We offer various types of livery aimed to suit all
horses, and can be tailored to suit individual
needs........
Part Livery
-
This livery is a total care package for your horse.
This includes feeding, mucking out, turnout and fetching in as
required and changes of rugs. We are happy to hold your
horse for the farrier or vet. Bedding and hay is
included. Feed will be provided by client.
Part Livery plus exercise
-
This livery includes all
the above. Your horse will be exercised 3 times per
week.
Hunter/Full
Livery -
This livery includes all basic care package plus six days
schooling and fittening work appropriate to horse and discipline
competing in. It includes all preparation and competition turn
out when required. Your horse will be fed on a diet
suitable to competition work.
Holiday Liveries -
This livery includes all
basic care package and can be either only turnout
included or exercise/schooling depending on your
requirements.
Youngstock Livery
-
This livery can be offered within
our own herd where available. Crew yards for Winter, Summer
turnout.
Youngstock Education
- groundwork
only
-
This livery
includes all the basic care package plus your horse will be trained
6 days a week. Some schooling will be split into 2 shorter sessions am/pm to
prevent mental and physical stress, especially catering for younger horses
coming into work. This livery is aimed specifically as a start off
ground work for lunging and long reining in preparation
for backing. It will also include training with your horse as
required.
NB: Livery charges are required weekly/monthy in
advance, preferably by standing order if possible.
NB: On all the above packages, any special
dietary/supplements/bedding requirements would be charged extra or
provided by yourself
NB: Farrier/wormers/vets fees are not
included.
NB: We would advise strongly your horse is up to
date with vaccinations.
NB: We do require to hold your horse's
passport.
NB: Horses are required to have third party
insurance. Although we offer a fully alarmed tackroom,
all equipment etc is left at the owners risk and it is advised to
cover this with your own insurance.
NB: All horses will be wormed on arrival by our
staff, under ALL circumstances, with a complete wormer i.e. Equest
pramox and charged accordingly (unless provided by owner on
arrival).

Training - welcoming all riders and horses, novice to the more advanced
Some Group and private lessons are available by
arrangement with ourselves, especially catering for children on
their own ponies.
Outside trainers are
welcome.
